are zowie monitors the only ones where you can strobe at custom refreshrates?

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

so I was reading the guide on the blurbusters benq strobe utility and the blurbusters strobe crosstalk guide, and the trick about using custom refreshrates at 182 hz and large verticals to minimize strobe crosstalk on the benq 240 hz monitors, and it got me thinking,

is it possible to use the same trick for non benq monitors to strobe at custom refreshrates? or is it hard locked somehow to max 144 hz ULMB on nvidia gsync monitors? how about the acer xf252 which is non gsync non ulmb, but can strobe at 240hz? would it be possible to create custom resolution on this monitor at like 180 hz with strobing somehow? but perhaps would not be able to adjust strobe crosstalk ?
