Games video is a litle blurry/glowing/flickering textures

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

Games video is a litle blurry/glowing/flickering textures

Post by Dav1d » 28 May 2020, 12:51

Hello,
I use Benq XL 2411P and my new desktop(ryzen5 3600, rtx 2070 super,16gb ram 3200mhz) running WIN 10 PRO VL.

For example in Fortnite I use these settings:(low settings for smooth gameplay/ I locked game FPS at 144)

and my video started few weeks ago to look very bad, game is not playable anymore with those settings

Please ZOOM on images to understand:

The problem with glowing/flickering textures is also in CS:GO..

I bought new PC, new DP cable, I tried different drivers, but I still have that issue. I have to say that I haven`t changed monitor (XL 2411P) and the Windows 10 usb kit.
Please tell me what to? I should buy a new monitor?(Benq Gaming Xl2430) or try different settings?

Have you enabled "Blur Reduction" in OSD of your monitor?

Turn ON for almost eliminate motion blur. :) But...
- if you can't good enough reduction of motion blur and you get any "bad" crosstalk, see - https://blurbusters.com/benq/strobe-utility/

- if you want minimum crosstalk, see - https://blurbusters.com/faq/advanced-st ... stalk-faq/
