Using a VG278H on Windows 10 fully patched.
I think my issue might be that the Device Manager is listing my Monitor as a Generic PnP Monitor.
I have tried to locate drivers for my display but coming up empty. So my guess is that strobelight.exe is referencing the Device Manager and since the supported monitor isn't on the list, it doesn't work.
I recall years back that strobelight.exe would go into the start up folder. After installation I don't see it anywhere in the startup sequence. I guess I have to add it manually?
Also when I log into windows I get a "incorrect cable. please use the dual-link dvi cable that came with your monitor." error. I guess I need to try another cable? The display runs at 120hz fine with this cable but no lightboost.
A link to the cable I'm using.
