HUGE lag and screen tearing when ULMB is ON

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

HUGE lag and screen tearing when ULMB is ON

Post by LovatoAriana » 29 Oct 2020, 02:36

So im using an Asus MG248Q. The monitor is 144hz and when i bought it, i used to be able to use 120hz ULMB and i saw a BIG difference in screen clarity and had 0 input lag. However, i havent used ULMB for years, and ive tried it today and every time i turn it on, i get HUGE screen tearing and input lag in Desktop and in any game i play.

Does anyone know what might have changed? I used to be able to use ULMB, but now it just makes a mess out of my screen with tearing and input lag?

SOLVED!

Used the Dual DVI cable i used to use and now it works. When using Displayport, i still get the lag and tearing.
