Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

dyac and ulmb and 1mbr

1. are these tech basically same?

2. dyac is just advanced version of backstrobing? (brightness?)

Yes. They're just different brand names of the same type of technologies.
See Motion Blur Reduction FAQ.

Also useful knowledge is the Pixel Response FAQ: GtG Versus MPRT, some of them are called "1ms MPRT", but MPRT exists regardless of strobing or not, but MPRT can't be less than a refresh cycle on a non-strobed display, and 1000Hz displays doesn't exist, so 1ms MPRT currently implies a strobe backlight.
