Alienware Gaming AW2720HFA 27 - Ghosting issues

Post by Tester31 » 25 Mar 2021, 05:32

Just purchased Alienware Gaming AW2720HFA 27, and seems that i have some ghosting issue when setting the response time to superfast/extreme mode. My GPU is GTX 970 connected through DP cable. Any thoughts? Thank you

That's normal with all monitors that allow you to set overdrive to very high values. The medium or high setting (depending on what the monitor's OSD calls them) is the one that's usually been configured to produce the least amount of ghosting. If you choose a higher setting, you overdrive the pixels so high that they produce "reverse-ghosting".
