XL2546K questions about DYAC+ for capping frames and vsync on or off

I recently got the BenQ XL2546K and I really love the DYAC+ tecnology for its blur reduction while maintaining good color.

My main game is Valorant and my PC is good enough to mostly maintain 240+ FPS. My FPS in Valorant hovers between 200 (rare dips) up to around 350 to 400ish with an average around 300.

I want good performance for competitive gaming while keeping DYAC+ on and I'm wondering if I should turn on vsync or not and whether I should cap my frames to 240 or 237 or whatever and how those would affect input lag.

Any help appreciated thx!

Avoid Vsync, if you want no tearing/multiple scanouts you should use RTSS to cap at decimals slightly lower than the effective refresh rate, like for example if your effective refresh rate is 239.76 you should cap with RTSS at 239.75 and eventually even lower until you find the tear line to be as far as possible from the center of your screen.

Personally I don't want to use external fps limiters so I either keep the fps uncapped or whenever it's impossible to uncap fps due to high GPU usage I simply limit the fps at 245.
