True 10-bit color + strobing + fast IPS

Hello.

Any monitor IPS strobing + 1ms or shorter response time with true 10-bit color (not 8-bit+FRC)?
If you respond "yes", I'll ask: "what monitor?".

NOTE: I'll miss CRT monitor for excellent infinite colors+flicker when CRT monitor is damaged.

Note that 10-bit color is useless for non-pro use cases (like image editing.) Games do not use 10-bit color. The only PC game I'm aware of that supported 10-bit was Alien Isolation.

The only way to get 10-bit color is HDR. For whatever reason, 10-bit color on its own never took off with only one game ever supporting it.

Ok. Not HDR but yes 10-bit color per channel = 30 bits color depth = deep color. Deep color and strobe are importants for multimedia (videos, cinema, TV...).

NOTICE: If our world doesn't exist any thin monitor with true 1 billion-color + strobe (1 ms or faster MPRT only) yet, we are confused and sad but CRT monitor continues dominate. ;)

I think this is a deflection to something minor, it feels too much of an excuse to toot CRT superiority.

At high frequencies, 360Hz, temporal can make 8bit panels as good as 10bit panels.

There are noticeable artifacts from 6bit+FRC but there are no known noticeable artifacts from 8bit+FRC at extremely high frequencies. It just looks like native 10bit.

Unlike DLP which is a binary flicker between full brightness and OFF (in its temporal dithering), 8-bit temporally dithered to 10-bit is essentially only 1/256th change in brightness at very high frequencies.

Also, CRT cannot do 360 Hz.

There are MORE important things to focus on first -- such as CRT blacks. NOW, that is an excuse to toot CRT superiority (for now) :D

Actually somebody managed to get an Iiyama Vision Master Pro 514 to run at 420hz, albeit at only 320x240

Apparently the vertical limit was 420hz

Of course it can't compete with modern displays but it's mighty impressive nonetheless.

Oh yes -- you're right. That was quite the feat! Not a usable resolution (except when playing old games like Quake) but quite the feat!
