Help reduce blur

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

Help reduce blur

Post by zrtgu » 31 Aug 2021, 16:42

Hey guys,

I use an Omenx25f 240hz monitor and primarily play CSGO.
The whole game is blurry when aiming left or right, making it hard to see enemies.
Hoping for any optimization tips that can help.

Open TestUFO and try different/higher OVERDRIVE level within your monitor OSD.
You can further tune the blur by changing RGB values or CONTRAST also in osd - like this.
This will help only a little bit, so I think you still won't be satisfied. If so, consider new monitor that has Motion Blur Redution feature (DyAc, ELMB, ULMB, PureXP, VRB, MBR, Aim Stabilizer...). Unfortunately you can't do more than this.

This will make it a little easier to find contrast level. https://1kwatt.github.io/scale/
I often do not clearly state my thoughts. google translate is far from perfect. And in addition to the translator, I myself am mistaken. Do not take me seriously.

Maybe pixel inversion artifacts? I tried the Omen X25f before (2x) and both suffered from faint vertical lines when moving in game, it looks like blur when you move fast.
