Best option for strobing?

I have a vg258qm and I'm able to turn it up to 280hz, I get 160 stable in warzone so should I be using 144hz with elmb? or 240 + g sync? or all 3? I'm just not quite sure, trying to find a good balance between smooth/clarity and latency, latency doesn't seem to really bother me or seem noticeable I can't quite find the right option anywhere on this site so I made an account
