27" IPS monitors that can strobe at 75Hz (ULMB or whatever)

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

27" IPS monitors that can strobe at 75Hz (ULMB or whatever)

Are there any of those out there? It's virtually impossible to find detailed info about strobing even on monitor's spec sheets.

RTINGS tests minimum strobe Hz.

But yes, the Blur Busters Approved XG270 has a strobe range of ~75Hz thru ~241Hz.

The even better XG2431 has a strobe range of ~59Hz thru ~241Hz but it is only 24" -- check out www.blurbusters.com/xg2431

Ah thanks guys. I know about the XG2431 but I'd want a 27 inch monitor. Hopefully one will exist in the near future that has both 60Hz strobing and is 27 inches (and 1440p or 1080p). Yeah I know the odds are slim of a 1080p IPS monitor like that.

I'm running simulators in triple screen you see, and 3x1440p will be too heavy on the graphics card. I suppose I could use 1080p on 1440p screens if the image quality didn't suffer too much because of it.

Thanks for the rtings tip :)

The old 2014 BenQ XL2720Z in 27" and can single strobe form 60hz to 240hz.

I should perhaps have mentioned that I have 3 of those already. The only real downside are the really thick bezels.

The Viewsonic XG270 looks like a good 27" alternative since it has really thin bezels, and since I can run all of my racing simulators in triplescreen above 75fps now. Chief, do you know how the quality of the 75Hz strobe on the XG270 is compared to my XL2720?

same, I've got 3 XL2720z myself, I'm actually looking to add 3 more to my monitor setup soon lol, for a total of 6, 3 on the bottom row and 3 above them on a top row. It's hard to want to go to the XG270 because it doesn't single strobe at 60hz

Agreed. Although for PC gaming it's actually becoming less and less of a problem. With the 3080 I can run pretty much all games at 1080p @ 75Hz. And at this point in time I actually own only one game that needs to be run at 60Hz, and that's Trials Evolution. Well, the whole series actually (Evolution, Fusion, Rising). So 3 games.

Agreed, more and more we're able to play games at above 60fps, sadly there are always outliers, like THE CREW 2, it only runs in 60fps and is a great racing game to play on a CRT, so its even better on a 60hz single strobe monitor. :)

Plus for anyone who wants to play consoles that run at 60hz or old games.. which isn't often for me, but there are times when i do dabble in an older game and seeing it single strobed is amazing.

In the 27" class, there is also the Eve Spectrum 4K144 option, as it can strobe from 48Hz thru 144Hz and supports a variant of the Blur Busters Strobe Utility too.
