Hi fellows,
I am facing massiv stuttering while playing FPS games. I did a lot of hardware testing (CPU, RAM, SSD, Temp.) als well as replacement of DP cable, driver and UEFI update... After testing with blur buster tool set I may see some anomaly that I cannot clearly identify. Thats the 1 million dollar question.
- Frame skipping/shifting
- motion blur
- or is simply the panel damages in that region?
See 2 pictures attached that tell me something went wrong in the upper part of my screen. Unfortunatly I have the same issue slighly higher when testing on an other mintor with 120Hz (my old eizo Foris FG2421).

Re: Asus ROG Strix XG32VQ - 144 Hz stuttering
Primary Reason: In graphics driver, you configured VSYNC OFF system-wide, even for Microsoft Windows applications.
Secondary Reason: Driver bugs
Common fixes:
- Avoid using VSYNC OFF except inside a video game.
- Configure NVIDIA Control Panel or AMD Catalyst to always VSYNC ON. Only use VSYNC OFF on a per-game basis.
- Reinstall your graphics driver and make sure Windows stays with VSYNC ON.
