So many reviews!

But like most, I too am waiting for Chiefs review on this monitor.

What concerns me now is how the US vendors will be selling this monitor (NewEgg, Amazon, TigerDirect, Best Buy). The week of the 26th I will be on overdrive checking each website to see if they have an Order,Pre-Order, Buy Now, or Add to Cart button as I don't if this monitor will sell out or not. Hearing how some EU vendors were upchargining for it makes me a sad panda. :(

It was paper launched in Poland by Asus Poland on 6th august for 2999PLN MSRP - that's with all applicable taxes included in price (about 959.43USD or just about 780USD without VAT). Still not available to this day physically anywhere and even if you can order prices start at about 985USD (3 retailers have it available currently for backordering). Price is decent. VAT kills my purchasing power :<

Seeing how it's mostly "popping" on EU stores, my guess is that US will have a similar release with it just appearing on the vendors sites. There are currently 2 on eBay that are "pre-orders" for about $1400-1500. Yikes.
