Is this monitor available in the UK? for the price point - this looks to be the monitor for me, but I don't see any news of its release.

Does anybody have any insight into this?

Just spoke with newegg. They should be getting a shipment of 240 units on Saturday and they currently have 208 preorders.

Any news on real world tests of this monitor or the 4k version of this monitor (XB270H)?

I hear a lot of negative reviews on the RoG Swift monitor. I've heard a lot seem to have dead pixels and a few have died already from being pushed so hard.

I assume since these 1080p monitors have been pushed past 240Hz that these should be reliable in that aspect. But not sure on the G-Sync of these 1Hz monitors.

I want to pre-order so bad, but I've been bit too many times in the past.

I sucked it up and re-preordered this monitor.

It's supposed to be released tomorrow, but mine was shipped today.

Once I receive it and give it a test, I'll let you guys know what I think.

I've already tried out the ROG swift so I can compare the two.

In my 2 hours of testing. It seems to be working very well. The colors are great for a TN (even without calibration and even at 144hz).

The only issue I'm having right now is ULMB. It dims the brightness a little too much for my liking and I'm not sure if you can adjust the strobe lengths.

I had one issue with motion in BF4 where it would have some sever ghosting, but after reloading the game - it went away.

Obviously the ROG swift has a crisper image due to the 1440p. But I got 4 dead pixels on my ROG swift and 0 dead pixels on my Acer.

Ulmb is too dark even at max brightness settings? Was it darker than the rog swift ulmb

Hello guys. New to the forum here. Signed up because I am also interested in getting the Acer GSYNC 27 display since it seems to be the best bang for your buck out there. I have not been able to find a lot of info out there about it. I did find a vide today of an unboxing on youtube: http://youtu.be/LBujkc_0A2I

Seems pretty sweet. I'm gonna wait to see what this guy reports back!
