One thing i've noticed is that g-sync it's allmost useless with far cry 4. Did some research and many people seems to got the same problem, sea of stutering even with g-sync monitor...

That's all because of engine stuttering. Fallout is the same. A total stuttery mess (granted, it's modded to hell).

You can only win so much. Because of tearing and low hz monitors being the standard, devs can get away with engine stuttering.

This* Ubisoft make terrible PC Games, just do a Google search, its well known. Far Cry 3 is the same.

I agree and was always saying that Ubisoft and EA are molochs which you should avoid (Ubi years ago bought out small ambitious companys just to close their projects, they never did similiar projects since).

I just recently bought this monitor. I would like to share my findings.
I already have multi-monitor setup for work (not for gaming). These monitor's are Dell U2913WM and old Samsung 226BW. I also have a Spyder 4 elite colorimeter to keep these monitor's colors consistent across them

I calibrated this monitor (Acer XB270HA) with my Spyder4 and performed analyses to generate a report, I like post it here

I will summarize what I think about it
1. This could be real 8 bit panel because it covers %98 percent of sRGB and It has dE average of 1.08 when it comes to color accuracy which is great.
2. Some people complained about lower luminance for the lower end of the screen. Tests show it has maximum of %15 percent luminance difference across the panel. Spyder4 give 3 out of 5 for this but you cannot see this difference with naked eye. It has minor backlight bleed at the bottom which is not annoying (for me)
3. Viewing angles are not great. I can notice the slight vertical colorshift of white color while looking at the screen directly. Solution is the looking at the screen slightly above or tilting the screen downward. No dead pixels.
4. Screen's menu content is poor compared to my Dell IPS. There is no RGB settings nor adjustment for ULMB
5. Built quality is OK in my opinion. It could have been more sturdy or stiff when it comes to rotating
6. There is no gamma curve problem at 144Hz which causes washed-out colors. This was apparent in old 144Hz monitor (That's what I read). 2.2 gamma curve is almost perfect at 144Hz.
7. I couldn't do much of a test of Gsync or ULMB yet. I just tested nvidia gsync demo.

Bottomline: I couldn't wait for a better Gsync monitor. This was in discount and I bought it. I probably don't get 1080p monitor in 27" screen for another reason. It doesn't have thin bezels or a classy look but It can rotate 90 degrees (for coding), it has good colors and gsync for gaming.

Is there any way of sharing that calibration or mimic those settings?
I personally find the screen to be a bit washed out, the blacks are more gray than black and the uniformity of the backlight is not that great. Display a completely black image and it is clearly visible. A fair bit of lightbleed.
But that is one of those things that varies from monitor to monitor.
Will try tilting the monitor down a bit and see if that helps. Thanks for the tip and nice report.
I am not at home at the moment and play on my laptop. The difference from the G-sync with high refreshrate is really really noticeable. I miss my G-sync you do get accustomed to it and then it is really hard to go back to a 60Hz screen with lots of tearing.

I'm not a photographer or color expert but everyone needs a colorimeter for decent colors on their monitors. Especially for multi monitor setups because color differences become apparent. These colorimeters make colors look good for even oldest cheapest monitors.
Especially when people compare TN panels with IPS panels, they don't realize a decent ips panel usually shipped calibrated.
I notice some backlight bleed on complete black image, true, but I can't see that on desktop with black background. It's not worse than my other TN panel

My colorimeter recommend 6500K white point with 120nt (luminance) and 2.2 gamma curve for standard LCD screens. You can set gamma curve by yourself. I tested different color temps and "Normal" is the closest to 6500K white point (by default Normal=6900K Warm=5800 Cool=~8000).
I'm giving my icc profile, I don't know how you use it or enable it. You have to set your brightness to "9" which equals to 40nt for this profile (I like low luminance). I made all calibrations at 144Hz, after the calibration I checked gamma curve with my colorimeter and it is all fine (almost 2.2)

Thanks for the review and the profile, have you changed any other settings on the monitor? you didn't mention contrast, I have loaded in your profile and have mine set at and find this to be great.

For anyone who wants to know, to load the profile go into advanced settings on the screen resolution tab, and select colour management, then all profiles and click add, then browse to the downloaded file. Then go back to the devices tab and select add and scroll down to the profile you loaded and press ok. Lastly click on the profile and set as default profile.

Yes, contrast is 50 for that profile.
Since there is no RGB sliders for this monitor, calibrated white point is also 6900K-7000K for that profile.
But I found a way to manipulate white point by increasing contrast to 56-57 which makes white point 6500K. But it also increases average color accuracy dE from 1.08 to ~1.5. I think that profile is good enough and colorimeter gives 4.5/5 for its color accuracy
I have learned all this stuff from tftcentral.co.uk which reviews and compares monitors very thoroughly. I highly recommend reading it
