60 fps feels choppy on a 165Hz (G-SYNC) monitor

Talk about NVIDIA G-SYNC, a variable refresh rate (VRR) technology. G-SYNC eliminates stutters, tearing, and reduces input lag. List of G-SYNC Monitors.

60 fps feels choppy on a 165Hz (G-SYNC) monitor

When I try playing 60 fps locked games it always feels choppy no matter what in-game settings I change.
Are there any solutions to make 60 fps smooth on a 165Hz G-SYNC monitor?

My monitor is: LG 27GP850-B

Reposting my answer to you from the G-SYNC 101 article comments section here:
If you mean 60 FPS 165Hz G-SYNC feels like 60 FPS at a fixed 60Hz physical refresh rate, that’s how it works…

G-SYNC can’t make a lower framerate feel like a higher one, it can only prevent the extra latency and stutter standalone V-SYNC introduces in the same scenarios.
