G-sync and DP cable quality.

Is there any posibility how can DP cable quality affect the g-sync?
I see some forums, where ppl write like they buy 2.1 Dp and they lost their stuttering etc. it's snake oil or its possible?
So i want to buy some 2.1 DP "because i read that on internet!
and wanna test it.".
I checking some cables on amazon and one of them has "auto low latency mode (ALLM)" it's another snake oil thing or it's real thing?
Btw i use Oculux NXG253R 360HZ.
