Hi there,
I am writing you from Germany. Do you know something about the streetdate of the ASUS VG248QE G-Sync Edition to hit the stores?
We can't buy the DIY Kit in Germany
ASUS VG248QE G-Sync Edition Retail
Re: ASUS VG248QE G-Sync Edition Retail
I don't think anyone knows the exact release date, yet. It will be in Q2 2014.
If you can't wait to get a G-Sync monitor, you can order the ASUS VG248QE G-Sync from Overlord Computer:
http://overlordcomputer.com/collections ... oid=1002_1
They do ship to Europe, although shipping is going to cost you an additional $100.

I received a modded Asus G-Sync Monitor, here in Germany, couldnt believe is true. Had only 1 hour to test. ULMB in COD Ghost looks very clear, nice one.
I tested gsync with the metro last light benchmark and can't see no real difference between no vsync and gsync, had some stutter - anybody tested that benchmark?

Metro: Last Light was one of the main games Nvidia was showing off the G-Sync tech at PDXLan in November when I got to see it. I definitely noticed a difference between 60fps vsync and g-sync, but it was more in the effect of lower input lag than fixing stutter, since that is what v-sync is for anyways.

Maybe it is the benchmark that has the stutter problem. I only tested this, not the real game.
I tried no vsync vs gsync
Will test more this weekend. I have a Benq XL2411Talso and I like the Colours from the Asus more, out of the Box.

Try Battlefield 4 or Crysis 3 at Ultra settings -- I really noticed GSYNC improved those games.
GSYNC works best in smoothing out low/stuttery frame rates.
ULMB looks very pretty with the higher/steady frame rates (especially at framerate == refreshrate == stroberate).
