Let's say you have 144Hz. With no VRR tech enabled (no G-Sync) and no V-Sync, what FPS cap is good to use? Has anyone tested to see which is most optimal at eliminating stuttering?

When I tinkered around, I got good results at 154fps @ 144Hz, but I don't know if there are many other possible FPS settings (288fps?) that would also eliminate stuttering.

Has anyone actually gone through trying like every possible setting to determine which are the sweet spots?

With vsync off, you're probably best off setting the cap at whatever your minimum framerate is.

with overwatch i used to use 147 fps and that was pretty good for 144hz vsync off
