Disablo 3 update and G-SYNC

Post by TSM » 26 Feb 2014, 01:16

The Diablo 3 update does support g-sync, but only if you enable v-sync. I just thought I'd give a heads up to anyone wondering why it wasn't working. I initially had v-sync off and g-sync wasn't engaging. Unfortunately with v-sync on you are capped at 60 FPS.

That is very strange and I'm getting the same behavior. I tried forcing vsync through nVidia Inspector but it still didn't work.

Did it work correctly before the latest patch? I'm going to test this game out later...

Interesting.

Could you post details about this in the hall of shame thread?

How does one actually know that g sync is not 'engaging' in a game. Jw

You can press the menu button on the monitor and it tells you if it's running in normal mode or G-sync mode right on the OSD.

So that will change as you load into a game ?
