Meanwhile, the count of 240 Hz keeps increasing rapidly!
All known 240 Hz monitors accessible on the US Amazon store at the moment:

Acer Predator XB252Q - 24.5" 1920x1080 TN 240Hz G-SYNC
Acer Predator XB272 - 27" 1920x1080 TN 240Hz G-SYNC
Acer Predator XF250Q - 24.5" 1920x1080 TN 240Hz FreeSync
AOC AGON AG251FZ - 24.5" 1920x1080 TN 240Hz FreeSync
ASUS ROG PG258Q - 24.5" 1920x1080 TN 240Hz G-SYNC
ASUS ROG Strix XG258Q - 24.5" 1920x1080 TN 240Hz FreeSync
BenQ ZOWIE XL2540 - 24.5" 1920x1080 TN 240Hz FreeSync
BenQ ZOWIE XL2546 - 24.5" 1920x1080 TN 240Hz FreeSync
BenQ ZOWIE XL2740 - 27"" 1920x1080 TN 240Hz FreeSync
Dell Alienware AW2518H - 24.5" 1920x1080 TN 240Hz G-SYNC
Dell Alienware AW2518Hf - 24.5" 1920x1080 TN 240Hz FreeSync
LG 27GK750F - 27" 1920x1080 TN 240Hz FreeSync
Viewsonic XG2530 - 24.5" 1920x1080 TN 240Hz FreeSync
Viewsonic XG2560 - 24.5" 1920x1080 TN 240Hz G-SYNC
(Excludes some UK/euro-only models like AG251FG, XF270HA)

Comparing the number of stars in the Amazon reviews together is also one of the good starting points for now, in combination with some backup commentary from these forums (e.g. frame skipping specimens).

Amazon stars seem completely useless, since they include rating from different products. I do not understand what the point of rating is if they are not restricted to the product at hand.

For example:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N34Q6LF?tag=blurbust-20

4/5 stars, from 480 reviews. But if you go to those reviews, they are for DIFFERENT MONITORS.

It is completely useless.

Reviews are just lies. Review sites get perfect sample and stuff we buy have blb and other problems...
None of reviews showed terrible blb and gamma I've experienced with ag251fg.
I've seen users report on asus being problematic too. The same history was with pg248g. Samples were great while picture quality on retail units was crappy.
And people on amazon reviews are mostly ignorant of problems so 5 stars. Or they just blindly play csgo and don't care about anything other than 240hz

Reviewers don't get perfect samples. You're making assumptions that are not true. Believe it or not the panels you got is how they look.

Well i hope so... if you expect your 240hz TN panel to have peak color performance then you've got another think coming.

FTFY.
You can look closer at specific users to see what they say, and about problems reported by some screens.
-- Glance a few of the more honest-looking 5-star reviews
-- Then sort the reviews, filter all 5-star reviews and 1-star reviews, and read the 2/3/4 star reviews. Those are usually the more honest reviews that aren't reactive.
-- Read closer to realize which specific model screen the user is writing about. Easier for some listings, harder for others.

A bit harsh, mind you. :)
-- Some review sites actually buy their units from stores, unbeknowst to manufacturers. RTINGS.com does.
-- We bug-reported many issues over the years (strobe bugs, frameskipping bugs, etc).
-- Amazon reviews are by users, not review sites. Though sometimes the reviews are spiked, you can read between the lines to interpret what users are saying.

The average users often uses a mix of site reviews & user reviews, to judge which monitor to buy. No site can afford to buy the ~200 different "Better Than 60Hz" monitors and the staffing needed to test them all at once.

That said... Blur Busters got an overdue reviews ramp-up coming, that is being held up by several pre-requisites that I'm working hard on. keep tuned.

Hey chief!
I've been on blurbusters for a while now and I've gone over almost all of your articles and needless to say I am stoked to be able to talk to you. I read your reply on all the 240hz monitors available on the market as of now, but still not quite sure which one to settle on. Out of the list of monitors that you mentioned, which ones are the best (ie. least motion blur and best for competitive gaming)? Also, in order to bring the price point of these monitors >400 USD I'm looking into used monitors in the 'Used - Like new' condition off Amazon. What's your opinion on buying a used monitor and what do you think about the Asus XG258Q? I found it for $346 here

The one in your link are really good prices.

You can buy new 240Hz monitor sometimes for $350 but it's not always easy to get such prices outside of major sale events (or Black Friday).
