G-Sync and Non-native Resolution Issues

Post by nhnp » 19 Jul 2018, 08:36

Hey Guys,

Been having trouble searching online. I apologize if I missed a thread or something regarding the issue.

I have an AGON AG271QG and when trying to use G-Sync on CS:GO theres a low chance G-Sync gets activated when its non-native running at a non-native resolution.I'm trying to CS:GO and have G-Sync at a 4:3 resolution of 1920x1440.

When I use the native resolution G-Sync works 100% of the time.

My desktop resolution is 2550x1440.

Are there any issues with G-sync and using a non-native resolution?

Thanks in advance.

There should be no issues if you make sure you're forcing GPU scaling in the nvidia panel.

That's weird, thats what I have turned on - G-Sync will turn on when I'm tabbed back to the desktop (at 2550x1440) though. Once I tab back into the game which is at 1920x1440, G-Sync turns off.
