I wanted to try out Gsync+Vsync, but for some reason Nvidia CP keeps resetting vsync to "Use the 3d application setting". But if I have vsync off in game, does that mean I'm not using gsync+vsync? I have vsync off in game based on the recommendations in the gsync articles.

When you change the g-sync setting, the vsync and preferred refresh rate settings will be reset. Just set vsync back to "on" when that happens.
