Hello,
I have an issue for a long time. Sometimes it feels like it's fixed and apparently not.
In a lot of games (not all of them) i have a weird flickers on the top of the screen.
it's mostly visible during loadings and menu but also in games.
In some games, no issued at all
I tried different settings :
Vsync on / off in control panel
capping FPS
Going to lower refresh rate - 95hz instead of 100hz..
But the issue seems persistant, I can reduce it but never fix it totally.
have someone found a fix or the best settings to manage with that?
Thanks
PG 348Q / top screen flickers
Re: PG 348Q / top screen flickers
If you're using G-SYNC, I believe it can be normal at really low refresh rates. This flicker is occasionally visible near the top of my display (XB271HU G-SYNC) on loading screen or in scenes with extremely low refresh/framerates with G-SYNC enabled, especially with certain background colors, patterns, or content.

Re: PG 348Q / top screen flickers
Yes it's with Gsync but even at high FPS like above 60 to 100FPS the issues occurs
Re: PG 348Q / top screen flickers
I just realized I responded to another user here nearly a year ago with the same monitor model, and the same issue:

It may be model-specific, unfortunately.

Re: PG 348Q / top screen flickers
Hm damn.
Well feels like the issue is less present if I do
No vsync
Fps cap @95 / 100hz

Re: PG 348Q / top screen flickers
Same screen here. Also this issue, but seldom during very low fps situations outside of gsync range. I once read a post by Chief here that explained the issue occurs due to brightness differences or such, I cannot reproduce. I would not invest any time trying to fix.
