Driver 441.08: Ultra-Low Latency Now with G-SYNC Support

Talk about NVIDIA G-SYNC, a variable refresh rate (VRR) technology. G-SYNC eliminates stutters, tearing, and reduces input lag. List of G-SYNC Monitors.

Low Latency Ultra is no longer capping fps here in the newest 446.14 drivers (gsync + vsync on)

It doesn't seem to apply consistently to all games (for example, it never capped the fps for me in HALO MCC when I tried -> the game still does not run adequately after several game patches and driver updates, so I keep testing...) but it still works for me in general with the 450.99 developer preview driver.
I think it's best to set up the V3 limiter as well (I set V3 to 117, so I can tell from the fps counter if Ultra [which caps to 116] is engaged or not), mainly for other APIs.
I am still not sure about any potential differences because using the renderaheadqueue parameter in Frostbite3 games certainly has an obvious effect on both the fps counter and the perceived smoothness even with any and all kinds of *Sync disabled (V-, G-, Fee-, whatever) on both nV and AMD.

All of a sudden Vync On with G-Sync Compatible + Ultra isn't capped at 224fps with CS:GO

(I've moved your post to a more relevant thread)

Did you recently install the latest Nvidia driver and/or the Windows 2004 update? Could be contributing factor.

I did a few things that I'm trying to investigate. I changed from GRD to Studio drivers 442.92. Have not installed the Windows 2004 update. I installed the monitor drivers.

The first thing I'd suggest then is to roll back to your previous graphics driver with a clean install via DDU, at least if the Ultra combo was working before that.

Also a tiny possibility a CS:GO update could have affected this (unlikely, but possible).
