G-SYNC and GameStream

Post by PiERiT » 18 Jan 2020, 11:11

I have a 1440p 144Hz FreeSync monitor, for which I globally enable G-SYNC and Vsync and a 141Hz FPS cap within NVCP. However, there are a few games I play on my projector using GameStream.

Performance wise, is it hurting to have the above settings enabled globally? Should I be disabling those things and forcing 60Hz fixed refresh on a per game basis? Or do those settings simply do nothing when the output display doesn't support them? How about Low Latency Mode?
