I play Fortnite a lot and I have been seeing this weird behaviour with g sync where I go into game and it's really jittery for about 20-30 seconds and I have to alt + tab and tab back into the game for g sync to properly work again all I have is stock NVCP settings, I haven't change anything yet. This could be a faulty g sync chip I don't really know yet.
SPECS:

G Sync jittery until i alt + tab back in game
Re: G Sync jittery until i alt + tab back in game
I think that's just how fortnite works, it happens to me aswell with freesync

Ok, I guess I was being nuts here but I created a similar topic a small while back:

I have the exact same issue in CSGO, this looks like a driver issue. I wonder if Nvidia is aware of this.
Seems like its both jittery but also can cause huge fps drop. Ive seen 800+fps uncapped vs 400ish uncapped in the exact same position, alt tab fixed that too (temporarily). Something is really wrong with the newer drivers. Try 43x branch and tell me if it fixed it for you.
Not sure if its pure coincidence, I also have an Alienware monitor though.
