"Fixed Refresh Rate" in the NVCP doesn't work anymore

So I want to disable G Sync for just CSGO. I've always done this in the past by just setting CSGO's profile in the NVCP to "Fixed Refresh Rate" but that setting is ignored and G Sync is still enabled in game. I tried using Nvidia Profile Inspector too to see if that would let me do more but it was also ignored. Is there no fix other than just disabling G Sync altogether?
