Basically my issue is simple. Almost every game that works in DX12 is jerky with G-Sync enabled. I've got Acer Triton 500 - i7 8750H / RTX 2080 MAX-Q with 144Hz 1080p panel. Any game in DX11 with G-Sync enabled play smooth. But not the DX12 titles. Just take a look at this side by side comparison in MW: https://youtu.be/-Pkz0Gb5ni0
Don't bother for windowed mode on the right, I have G-Sync enabled only for fullscreen applications so turning in windowed mode equals G-Sync off.
I honestly don't understand it. I thought G-Sync is only about varying display refresh rate. How instead of a super smooth image I'm starting getting totally opposite?

Re: Jerky gameplay in DX12 titles with G-Sync laptop
It's still a thing on my laptop
Shadow of the Tomb Raider, take a look:

When I'm in DX12 and G-Sync is ON I've got horrible stuttering. If I switch to DX11 everything is smooth. Also, no stuttering when G-Sync is OFF in DX12.

Okay, case solved. I switched from a balanced power plan to performance and it solved the stuttering issue. Took 2 years to understand this.

Re: Jerky gameplay in DX12 titles with G-Sync laptop
The issue is back, in some way. Now i've got another laptop with G-Sync screen. It's Redmi G Pro 2020 with i9-12900h and geforce 3070ti and 240hz panel. The best possible example was captures in BF2042, take a look:

G-Sync is set to work in fullscreen only so when BF2042 is in fullscreen i've got strange hiccups, and if i switch to windowed mode (where g-sync is not working) everything is smooth.
I've noticed same stuff in Diablo 4, but hiccups happens less often, but still they are absent in windowed mode.

Re: Jerky gameplay in DX12 titles with G-Sync laptop
maybe it's doing copy through igpu? what does gpu util show for the integrated when running full screen?

I think it's copying over igpu.backrooms
