Just posting another update.
The problem came back all of a sudden. No idea why.
but since then, I have a new laptop, the G732lws, which doesnt have a G-sync capable screen, but when I am connected to an external monitor, G-sync works fine, with none of the aforementioned problems.
So, I am guessing that it had something to do with the other laptop, having a G-sync capable screen naturally.
I really need help on this G-sync flickering issue.
Talk about NVIDIA G-SYNC, a variable refresh rate (VRR) technology. G-SYNC eliminates stutters, tearing, and reduces input lag. List of G-SYNC Monitors.
