I have a gt72 dominator pro g 6qe MSI gaming laptop that has 75HZ G-SYNC ready? screen

After a minor video card upgrade (gtx -980m 4gb to the 8gb version)

And a bios update along with the geforce driver updates

G-SYNC DISAPPEARED after this the option is not even available on control panel and now its only 60hz

Confused since apparently g-sync is not available in the 980?

But then how come i could use it before?

Will try to roll back drivers right now the monitor driver says its standard pnp monitor, or roll back the NVIDIA drivers i dunno


Or was i totally scammed by MSI?

Have you just updated the geforce drivers or did you do a full DDU clean install?

If you only updated, get DDU and do a full wipe and clean install of the latest driver.
