If you really want that crispy look to a display, I really recommend the highest PPI on the smallest screen you can find. I haven't looked around at monitors in a while, but they prob have something like 4k at <27". That's around <163.18 PPI, then pair that with something like a very bright IPS, you'll get the desired visual.

I use to have 23.8" 1440p/123.41 PPI and sometimes things looked like stickers on the display when maxing the brightness, like the Overwatch character select screen gave me that first impression, and that was a TN panel. The higher the PPI, the sharper and more pop everything has I feel.

BenQ Mobiuz EX2710Q should be a great option an it's often on sale for around 399.- as supposed to it's MSRP of 599.- It comes with some of the best strobing in the 1440p market. Check out the review here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unoDr-H ... anJamshidi

Hi. Hijacking this thread a bit because I have the exact same requirements as the OP here, and the XG27AQM looked great. However, I'm looking for something I can find on Best Buy (I understand that's a ridiculously specific criteria, but since these monitors are in the $700 range, I find their "pay in installments" cc feature quite handy), and I was unable tofind that one there... Much to my great sadness.

Are there any other "Fast IPS" monitors with excellent blur reduction, 240hz, 1440p? Preferably also not red phosphor, since while that looks incredible, it really seems to fuck with blur reduction, at least on the ViewSonic monitor I had a while back.

EDIT: Nevermind, going with the XG27AQ. Disregard.
