SEDs are most likely not going to happen. However, if I could find someone willing to assemble them, I would consider distributing 2048x1536 170Hz LCDs, which is nowhere near as far-fetched as starting SED or CRT production. 21.5" 2048x1536 LCDs and DVI transmitters capable of 2048x1536@170 already exist.
