It's a fascinating read.
But isn't there prior arts elsewhere for some parts of the patent -- such as the Zisworks ZWS display, as well as some other displays that used subsets of tricks already documented in the patent? The Zisworks 4K 120 Hz display (at www.blurbusters.com/480hz !) halved vertical resolution to do double Hz (240 Hz), and quartered vertical resolution to quadruple Hz.
