For what it's worth, I'm at XL2411Z V4 and while it's able to do 210Hz, eventually the screen will become white due to an unstable overclock. Same even at 185Hz. At 180Hz it's perfect.

Ok cheers, How would I know that 180 is truly is stable though? I played 2 counter-strike games with it enables yesterday and it seemed to work fine (altghough a bit blurry since i'm used to 128hz with blur reduction).

As for the OOS Fixer, do I simply download the exe and put it in %ProgramData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp?

Hi! So I've discovered that if I want to go above 180hz, I must use the "LCD Reduced" option when creating custom resolutions in CRU (although "LCD Native works as well but then flicker occurs. "LCD Standard" only works up to 180hz. I managed to get all the way to 240hz (didn't try any higher) using LCD Native. However, the image was very unstable with flickering and artifacts. I just thought that might be worth mentioning in the OP. LCD Reduced got up to 200hz stable without ant artifacts.

I placed the "OorBuster" Application in the "startup" folder in "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp" and while it does start up automatically with windows, the monitor stays "out of range" unless I do it manually through "softMCCS". Any idea? Is it only the application that should be in the startup folder?

Out of Range should fix automatically as soon as Windows starts the program. Sometimes it takes a while for it to start after PC boot, so you're stuck with Out of Range screen during that time. Or it fails to start OorBuster.exe for some reason.

* There might be other issues, such as OorBuster.exe failing to retrieve the monitor's handle, etc. but they don't happen that often.

Okay, I don't know what the isue is but the program is running in my windows tray as well as task manager. It doesn't fix the Out of range error though no matter how long I wait after starting up my PC.

Which Windows version are you using? Maybe the screen wake up event isn't fired for some reason when the app is launched on your PC, you could try getting the older version "OOR Fixer" and see if that helps with OOR fix on boot, as it doesn't wait for the event but does the fix forcefully upon launch. (OOR Fixer doesn't have the fix-on-screen-wake-up feature, but if you confirmed that it works for you, I could update OOR Buster.)

Cheers, that version worked for me (although I have to sign in to windows first with a "out of range" black screen but I know what to press so it doesn't matter much). I'm using Windows 10 version 1903 btw. Is any of the "OorFixer" version supposed to work when entering a game that changes the resolution? for example when launching csgo at 180hz but having the desktop at 120hz?

Yes, both OOR Fixer and OOR Buster should work in your described scenario.
