Hi, I'm new here and looking for some help. I've tried reading through different threads looking for a solution but haven't found anything that's worked. My Asus VG259QM is on 144hz and won't overclock to 280hz.
I'm using DP to connect to an RTX2070 Super. The monitor is FW Version MCM106.
I've tried turning off GSYNC, ELMB SYNC, changing ports on the PC, resetting the monitor settings, turning off OC and turning it back on, and am not having any luck. In my display settings and NVDIA control panel I'm only seeing options for up to144hz.
I've had this monitor since 2021 and it used to go into 280hz, but would often reset itself back to either 144 or 240, I don't remember. I think back then, I would just turn the monitor off and on and apply the OC then it would work.
Does anyone know a way to really fix this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
ASUS VG259QM Locked 144hz Wont Overclock
Talk about overclocking displays at a higher refresh rate. This includes homebrew, 165Hz, QNIX, Catleap, Overlord Tempest, SEIKI displays, certain HDTVs, and other overclockable displays.
