Benq 2430T - overclocking or VT1500?

Hi

I use monitor Benq 2430T, 144HZ for some quite time with settings: 120Hz, VT1500 with Strone Phase = 44, Strobe Duty = 6, and Intensity = 20.
Recently I found information about overclocking the monitor and I managed to get 211 Hz using DVI Dual-Link.

I was wondering which setting is better to reduce input lag and improve response time. Overclocking or VT1500 trick?

Maybe worth distinguishing two settings? One for CS2 (1280x960) and a second one for regular use (1920x1080; low blue light = 10)?

It's a contradicting goal sometimes.

Reduce lag of unstrobed VSYNC OFF -> overclocking is better

Improve response for strobing -> sometimes VT1500 is better

If you love framerate=Hz strobing, the picture quality of VT1500 is better for motion clarity enthusiasts, but I bet that if you're spending most of time stationary-gazing at crosshairs, you will benefit more from the overclocking approach.

YMMV.
