Vizio P series 4K@60hz true 240hz native panel? 120hz input?

Talk about overclocking displays at a higher refresh rate. This includes homebrew, 165Hz, QNIX, Catleap, Overlord Tempest, SEIKI displays, certain HDTVs, and other overclockable displays.

Vizio P series 4K@60hz true 240hz native panel? 120hz input?

It seems all but the P502ui-B1E (120hz panel) in the P series has a 240hz refresh rate while the frame interpolation technology is something else entirely. Though no appropriate interface seems to be present to be able to actually input 240fps content. Just one HDMI 2.0, which I don't believe can pass 240hz even at 1080p but perhaps someone here can find a source indicating otherwise. Very interesting none the less. CTO claims the panel was made in-house as well as the SoC.

Also it apparently can do 120hz input (assuming over HDMI 2.0 at 1080p) as stated in this video at 5:05 during an interview with the Product Manager

Here is a video testing the input lag of the hdmi 2.0 port with a Leobodnar lag tester measuring at about as low as 0.2 ms

The crazy thing is that their 50" in P series starts at just $1000 and goes up from there to 70 in

I'm having a hard time believing all this but the evidence here is quite convincing.

Many Vizio HDTV models have been generally reliable being 1080p @ true 120Hz from a computer. There are many successful reports of 120Hz into Vizio HDTV's, even including cheaper $500-$600 models of the smaller sizes (40"). The 240Hz is only via frame rate interpolation, but the 120Hz can also be done at native input, too, making them gigantic 120Hz monitors.

See HDTV Refresh Rate HOWTO: True 120Hz from PC to TV

Also see Display Overclocking forum too, for some other Vizio users.
