OC x-star 27 inch monitor [how to overclock to 120Hz?]

Talk about overclocking displays at a higher refresh rate. This includes homebrew, 165Hz, QNIX, Catleap, Overlord Tempest, SEIKI displays, certain HDTVs, and other overclockable displays.

Changing from "Auto" to "Manual" in your Custom Resolution Utility, and then manually tweaking the numbers, such as making the Porches/Sync smaller, in order to achieve higher refresh rate with lower bandwidth (lower dotclock) to attempt to reduce artifacts.

This is an advanced tinkering step, but I don't think it's worth the effort if you're already getting flawless 108Hz.
