Disable refresh rate cap

Talk about overclocking displays at a higher refresh rate. This includes homebrew, 165Hz, QNIX, Catleap, Overlord Tempest, SEIKI displays, certain HDTVs, and other overclockable displays.

Disable refresh rate cap

Post by rabidz7 » 27 Jan 2015, 11:58

How can I disable the out of range message that pops up when a Samsung 1080p LCD is overclocked past 77Hz? I understand that this may need firmware hacks.

As far as I'm aware, you can't. I have the same problem on my Samsung XL2370.
