Well if i wanted to get a particular panel for this project could i tell how well they will perform from TFT's panel parts?http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/articles/mo ... _parts.htm

Would a panel with better sRGB coverage look better? and a better response time react quicker? I kinda always thought that the chips would be the ones doing a lot of the work.

If you truly want 'best', then you don't have many choices:
my board plus m270hhf-l10.
one of the 1440p ips gsync monitors
one of the 5K monitors like z27q. Last I looked, these were pretty good
some other serious color/work monitor. havent looked into these for a while.

This seems very interesting. I got three noobish questions though:
Is 3d active possible with this (will I loose my 3d active capabilities)?
If yes: can I send frame packed 3d material at 1080p50 (HDMI 1.4 limitations really suck if you use SVP)?
Is the display port version freesync capable?

Thanks in advance!

I got my kit in yesterday! Wooo

He helped me hook it up and get setup and it works like a charm!

It gets 260~ but i do want to see if i can maybe swap some cables out and get some more hz out of it. Loving it so far!

I might do a more in depth post about it and make a enclosure but i just want to play around with it right now
