Anyone know of a workaround to make the 165Hz OC work on Kepler?

I don't think so. You're not losing out on anything, btw. I run my own 165Hz IPS display at 144Hz even though I could use 165. There was a test out there (forgot which site) that found the pixel response to get a little worse if you run these panels at 165 instead of 144. So basically, the panels on these monitors prefer to be used at 144Hz or lower. Once you get past 120Hz, you get diminishing returns when it comes to motion clarity on IPS. 144Hz is pretty much the perfect refresh rate for these panels.

So I wouldn't sweat over it.

Yeah, you're right. It's not a big deal.

The day I upgrade my video card. I'll give it a spin.

Thanks for the info RealNC.

And I found the test:

http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/asu ... erclocking
We tested these again at 165Hz and compared them to our measurements we had taken at the optimum 144Hz refresh rate earlier. As a reminder, we found that as you increase the refresh rate from 60Hz to 144Hz, the response times improved as you went. [...] We hoped for a further improvement with the boost to 165Hz but actually the opposite was the case.

The response times were slightly slower overall at 165Hz than they had been at 144Hz. [...]
So basically, 144Hz is the "perfect" refresh rate. Everything seems to be tuned to target 144Hz on this monitor.

Right. Looks like the overdrive is not optimal at 165Hz.
