Sucessfull overlocked ZBook 15 G1 1080p IPS eDP display 90Hz

Talk about overclocking displays at a higher refresh rate. This includes homebrew, 165Hz, QNIX, Catleap, Overlord Tempest, SEIKI displays, certain HDTVs, and other overclockable displays.

Sucessfull overlocked ZBook 15 G1 1080p IPS eDP display 90Hz

Hello guys, messing up with CRU i got my integrated display to run easily at 90Hz

But using this high refreh rate, its just like i can see some faint blac stripped pattern in some dark grey areas, is this because of front porch or something I can control or is just something that happens to some displays when pushed up higher?

Feeling like pushing a bit further, hehe still have some pixel clock remaining (240mhz max eDP)

update: got it to 100hz but the faint lines still appear, but love the smoothness

Have you tried automatic normal timings? Like "LCD Native" or "Reduced"?

Here is the settings, using lcd reduced or normal i get black screen, but using the same timings from 60hz it works no problem

the left setting on the image does not work, the right setting works.

the only problem is the screen faint horizontal black lines that sometimes when you look you can see, is strange, cant quite figure what it is, but boy its smooth.....

EDIT: the left setting is reduced blanking options for 90hz and the right setting is the same timings from 60hz but with 100hz refresh rate.
