Hello, i am here to tell you guys some things ive done with my XL2411P. (ALL DISPLAYPORT, RTX 2070. i dunno if the gpu changes shit because i dont know shit about cables and monitors BUT i am indeed a gamer.)
I cannot write essays so in short with my XL2411P i have gotten (no frameskip on any btw, tested with oneplus 5T camera with 1/10 andor ISO 100.)
1920x1080 @ 210hz with the total pixels front porch etc like in the post. side effects: (slight "waves" or smthn like that bullshit when looking at like chrome with long white empty space BUT when ingame (valorant deathmatch, practice range and comp) no discernible waves BUT my crosshair (which is a blue dot) gets an another red dot right next to it but its like 20% opacity and i see it if i get close and WANT to see it.
and this is the spicy part. I basically raised myself to want/NEED every competitive advantage i can get aaand that lead me to experiment with lower resolutions and higher refresh rates... which lead to 1280x768 @ 240hz.
1280x768 @ 240hz with CRU i have it set up like this=
Active:1280 pixels 768 lines
Front Porch: 24 pixels 3 lines
Sync width: 32 pixels 5 lines
Total: 1344 pixels 782 lines
refresh rate 240.000Hz
and yeah in csgo and valorant it works BUT= IT LOOKS LIKE ABSOLOUTE GARBAGE. THE PIXELS MOVE BY THEMSELVES, ITS BLURRY AS FUCK, IT LOOKS VERY VERY BAD.
but as i was raised with a shit pc and i always have had an compulse to do anything and everything to beat other gamers at games i dont mind how it looks.
no frameskip, testufo says 240hz and so on. (in valorant i can choose 1280 768@240hz and for csgo i put in steam launch commands: -refresh 240 -w 1280 -h 768 and when i do mat_info it says 1280x768@240hz and it feels so goddamn good i nut.) all fullscreen obv no bullshit windowed or whatever and also for my pc the OorBUSTER doesnt do work but the older OorFixer works like a charm idk why.
Windows version 20H2 btw and i wont put pictures here or shit im too lazy to log in with my phone and shit so naahh try it with your own risk as always etc etc. Specs:
i7 8700k hyperthreading on 4.8ghz at i dont remember what voltage
rtx 2070 not super, used the new one time click tuning from nvidia and it gives like +71 to +76mhz but my gpu is the MSI ARMOR OC version so its already a lil OC-d i think
16gb of 3200mhz ram
idk if specs matter but yeaheayeasyedasyeasyehasehashe
