Can also confirm XL2411Z DVI overclock: 1080p 210Hz with 0xCC and 0xDC (good info from urut) activation.
Used ToastyX Pixel Patcher.
Will check for frame skipping at a later time.
CSGO fullscreen plays fine (until you minimize or quit it).

Note about 0xDC:



It makes you choose a color profile, but you only get 2 options: standart and movie. Will have to see if other/custom modes are somehow available to be chosen.

Brightness / Contrast / Gain / Etc can be used to reproduce Movie Mode or create a different mode (using more adjustments).

In this case -- Movie Mode is just essentially a quick profile to automatically configure multiple settings. Movie Mode is just a quick way to fix the 200Hz/220Hz colors (along with resetting Sharpness and AMA). I had found that it improved 220Hz colors, in the easiest/fastest way. But you can also use conventional color calibration with all the other settings.

After getting the 'Out of range' message and pressing "OSD language - 0xCC" -> Activate, the Out of Range message goes away, but the screen is just black. Uploading a youtube video right now with a demonstration of what happens and will link when it's processed!

1 -- Did you disable motion blur reduction before overclocking?
2 -- What firmware version are you using?
3 -- Are you using Instant Mode? Overclocking only works with instant mode.

On my XL2720Z, I only needed to do 0xCC.

Appears you have to do both 0xCC and 0xDC with the XL2411Z DVI.

Status update : Xl2420G works with 210hz, (DVI) After 210hz, the screen either blanks out or has a black screen.
Also a small thing i have noticed, sometimes I don't have a "Out of range" error, but sometimes it just shows a white screen, any tips/suggestions for that? (or thats the same "Out of range" error)

Ninja edit: The overclock is unstable, the screen does whiteout. Will try lowered hertz, currently at 200hz

I tried 155Hz, looks great and no frame skipping. Then I tried 165Hz and while there was no frame skipping, I could noticed some horizontal scanning lines that move up vertically. Does that mean the monitor is unstable at 165Hz? Proof here of frame skipping tests at 1/5th sec shutter speed and a video of the horizontal scanning lines below. YouTube compression makes it very difficult to notice the lines though.

Tried this with my BenQ XL2411T.

The "Display Application - 0xDC" listing gets greyed out when I apply the 220hz video mode, however the "OSD language - 0xCC" works as expected and removes the "Out of range" message.

Also the monitor doesn't seem very happy whatsoever with the exact video mode from the screenshot in the original post and will turn off the backlight completely for ~3 seconds and seemingly reboot, is it necessary to mirror the custom resolution exactly from the original post or does "Automatic" work fine aswell?

I attempted 150hz and 200hz and got the same result minus the screen unhappily rebooting.

Be careful!! I have bad news. I just broke a XL2430T trying this with S-Switch method..

Everytime I connect the monitor now with Display Port, the "no signal" message appears. It doesnt work even on the bios or with another device connected. Deleted all custom resolutions, restarted everything with CRU... No luck. It works fine on other ports like HDMI. I think I broke displayPort on this monitor. And now I doubt I can return this way.

Anyone has suggestions? Chief? I'm clueless and sad..
