Talk about overclocking displays at a higher refresh rate. This includes homebrew, 165Hz, QNIX, Catleap, Overlord Tempest, SEIKI displays, certain HDTVs, and other overclockable displays.

I can't post links so GitHub but my username and the repository name are as follows: Chopper1337/OorBuster
Link: https://github.com/Chopper1337/OORbuster

P.S. New members can't post links at first, but after a few posts, link posting capability activates. I think you now can post links seeing that you already have a few posts.

Hey,

found this awesome thread and since I have a XL2411Z (2015) tried the overclock.

I couldnt get SoftMCCs working (.exe crashed after applying the higher res)

But it worked with the OOR Buster.

1920x1080@180 (without visible scanlines)

And maxed out at 210hz (220 --> Blackscreen). (It works but I can see horizontal scanlines; Which is a bummer, is there a way to fix that?)

I'm using Dual Link DVI.

210hz is not frameskipping as far as I tested it.

I would post links but this is literaly my first post.

Can Someone help me with the xl2411p.
I have tried OORbuster and im pretty sure I am doing everything wrong.
I dont know what im supposed to put in the target field, after the last quote do i put just the numbers 2000 500 250 3000 or do i do this <OOR delay 2000> <Pic delay 500> <AMA delay 250> <Wake delay 3000> ?
Im just so confused.

Can somebody show step by step method that works?

I have it as well, I think the XL2411P doesn't work with this method :(

Hello from Portugal.

I have the Benq XL2411P 144hz. I got to 200hz using a DP, GTX1070 8GB, Windows 10 and a 2nd monitor. I just followed the instructions from the 1st post starting here "The "Out Of Range" Defeat Trick" and it was straightforward.

Frame skipping test passed
CRSED online w/ 40 players passed

I hope this lives another 2 years and my wallet says thanks(for now)! :)
Benq XL2411P 144hz @ 200hz - 6 bit color is forced instead of 8 bit - more fps but less quality
F/W VERSION: V002-20170824
Force 6 bit color for more fps by editing CRU 1.5.1

on my XL2411p i can get a max of 165 hz but anything over works but with major artifacting (unable to see anything). is 165 the max for my monitor or can i do anything else? ive tried using lower resolution like 960p and 720p with no luck. also 1665 hz has this scanline effect which is kinda annouing. im using chopper1337's OorBuster
