report zowie XL2430-144hz-2016

i Get around 200Hz 1080 without artifacts and around 215 + artifacts.
DP 1.4 with s-switch bug.
Also, for fullscreen ingames i needed to remove native resolution from cru detailed resolution.

Custom resolution in adm radeon software limited me on 200hz and working only for window/borderless modes.

why so strict no? Why not something like "yes if you find a way to bypass the firmware lock like with these earlier 144hz models"
or is there something more to this mr chief, do you know something that we don't ? but as a owner of xl2546 i would really like to try how high this panel can overclock.

The 240Hz BenQs are not overclockable, for two reasons.

(A) Unlike for the 1080p 144Hz BenQs, no trick, no jailbreak, and no hacks has ever been discovered for 240Hz BenQs to successfully overclock them.

(B) Also, as another datapoint to my pessimism -- the 240Hz BenQs are fixed-scanrate panels (see this post in Quick Frame Transport thread) are unoverclockable beyond their maximum scan velocity because of their internal scan conversion. The 240Hz BenQs and 1440p 144Hz BenQs use internal scan conversion, while all 144Hz 1080p BenQ panels are "horizontal-scanrate multisync".

A flexible scanrate panel (horizontal scanrate multisync) will speedup/slowdown its scanout to match its signal. Not all pixels refresh simultaneously -- it takes a finite time to refresh from first to last pixel. You can watch pixels refresh sequentially on the LCD panel surface in high speed videos of LCD refreshing.

The most big-margin overclockable panels are the panels that synchronizes its pixel refresh to the signal delivery in a 1:1 symmetric velocity -- like a Multisync CRT -- without internal scan conversion (full frame buffering-and-scanout at an independent velocity). I've seen 60Hz panels overclocked to 180Hz simply because they were horizontal scanrate multisync -- but unfortunately this is not what a 240Hz BenQ does, its scan converter will put a hard cap on max Hz even if the "OUT OF RANGE" firmware cop is defeated.

Very few 240Hz panels are horizontal scanrate multisync.

Hello boys, I have a XL2411P, I can't overclock my monitor over than 150hz, I tried everything with AntiOutOfRange, OORBuster but nothing works for me. Someone wins that war against "Out of range"?

I've just extended the life of my XL2411Z by overclocking to 200mhz and it seems solid as a rock - I know the guide said to do with blur reduction disabled but I had it on and its running 200mhz with blur reduction and the image is crystal clear.

If I drop back to 144mhz and turn off blur reduction, then overclock back to 200mhz, this difference is very noticeable (blur on the spaceships lights) - so not sure if this is meant to be possible, but obviously it is! (and with full screen brightness too with some help from BBSU).

I'm using OOR Buster to keep windows in check when any erroneous OOR messages pop up, but I need a utility / macro to now toggle between 144hz and 200mhz as if I forget to change back before shutting down, it's easy to get stuck at the login screen but with no display (sometimes you can fumble your password in and dropping OOR buster into startup helps - but doesn't always work).

OK, found a little tool called QRES

Made 2 batch files on the desktop now - 200hz mode and Shutdown (which reverts to 144hz before shutting down - well it will after it stops looping in cmd prompt lol) - *fixed - hint - don't call it "shutdown.bat"

In first batch file I named it "200hz mode.bat":

qres /x:1920 /y:1080 /r:200

2nd batch file to shutdown the PC "shutdownpc.bat" (reverting to 144hz first):

qres /x:1920 /y:1080 /r:144
shutdown /s /f /t 0

Don't name it "shutdown.bat" as windows will get confused and just loop in a cmd prompt over and over (but you can move the script files to your C: drive and create shortcuts which you can name how you like)

XL2430T here with 219hz with S switch method/CRU. Dropped one of the back porches to go beyond 211hz for me. Seems fine so far. Monitor is defaulted on fpsmode 1.

Hi I was wondering is there any way to turn on blur reduction when you are using the OORbuster method, I got my display to 180hz, beyond that the display starts acting funky.

I'm trying different ways to go above 150Hz for a XL2411P but in vain.
I tried the method with a second monitor and running SoftMCCS or only using OorBuster.
Also, I used NVIDIA Control Panel or CRU, and already patched with NVLDDMKM Patcher.
I'm currently using a Display Port cable.
Can anyone of you who already had a sucessfull OC with the same monitor tells me what exactly to do and maybe share me his CRU config?
