210hz working on a 2420g with dvi in classic mode
I mostly play Overwatch and the game does not present the custom refresh rate in its options once launched - however, using borderless windowed mode with 144hz set in options + the patch, seems to be working.

Re: BenQ UNIVERSAL 144Hz->220Hz OVERCLOCK for 1080p 144 Hz
First of all, amazing stuff, works excellently well using a Zowie XL2411 @210hz (DVI only) with the timings of the first post.
Had to reinstall drivers using my onboard gpu 2 times but that's another story, using OORfixer on startup is amazing.
To the people saying that their fullscreen games do not work @200+hz, try changing your launch options. This worked for me in csgo, mat_info correctly displayed 210hz refresh. Have not tested any other games because the colors get a little bit messed up and I cannot
really use my monitors osd while @200+hz (does not display the usual settings like picture mode selector, only an input method selector).

xl2411z: does not change the settings to 180Hz when startup (oorfixer.exe in autorun folder)
I mean, turning off or restarting with 180hz the system boots and the black screen "out of range" window appears.

I've updated OOR Fixer, it should now automatically apply the fix upon boot once Windows starts OOR Fixer if Windows booted at >144Hz.p1um4 wrote:xl2411z: does not change the settings to 180Hz when startup (oorfixer.exe in autorun folder)

It's work! Thank you, hleV

Created a new account for this very awesome topic
I got a good ol'd xl2411z and a nvidia 1080
Using the timings in the first post(use CRU not nvidia due some games not accepting nvidia custom resolutions), followed the instructions, used pixel patch clock fix thingy, and had to use OorFixer by hleV to sucessfully hit 200hz
problems:
1- the buttons on the monitor all open the input select menu
2- from time to time, while browsing or whatever it goes "Out of Range!" still showing normal screen but with the black overlay <- fixable with opening the OorFixer or applying "Dispaly application - 0xDC" win softMCCS, i think the OorFixer can fix this issue in a future update maybe, maybe the problem is just on my side
maybe not a problem?: i got this monitor 1 week ago, i have tried everything to minimize the blur, the 120hz trick and all but even with 200hz whenever i drag a window i see the letters duplicating/ghosting, is that normal?

- Can't be fixed (otherwise you could do the fix there instead of using software).
- To clarify, does the OOR notification randomly appear, or does the screen also go black for a second and then reappears? If it's the latter, then the 2.5s timing I hardcoded might be too low for your monitor. I have plans to make the timings adjustable but for now just use Anti Out of Range whenever this happens.

OOR Fixer updated to 1.3
Now accepts initial and setting delays as launch parameters. E.g.:
With these launch parameters, the app will wait 2s before removing the Out of Range notification and additional 0.5s before restoring picture mode.
* If you're autorunning OOR Fixer on boot and wish to use these launch parameters, add the shortcut to startup folder instead of the .exe itself.
* Default timings remain 2500ms and 250ms.

Re: BenQ UNIVERSAL 144Hz->220Hz OVERCLOCK for 1080p 144 Hz
1- Ok
2- the screen didn't go black, the notification was from the monitor, i think i fixed it by resetting everything in softmccs and the cru/reset and doing it again and if i don't mess with the monitor buttons it's all good
I can't seem to find the sharpness or a almost any of the color settings in the softmmcs, i only find gamma hue, RGB video gain, luminance, contrast, color temp increment and request and change between movie and standard default and thats about it, it would be great if we could change stuff like black equalizer and whatnot
Thanks for the update on the oorfixer tool
