Hi everyone, just wanted to know if someone could share some information about the "Overclocking" option on the Elite XG270 OSD settings? The manual doesn't say much, is this to achieve higher than 240hz using a custom resolution? Does it have any impact on the screen?

I notice that the screen blacks out when i enable and disable the setting so i'm not sure what it does in the background.
