XL2411P Overclocking

Talk about overclocking displays at a higher refresh rate. This includes homebrew, 165Hz, QNIX, Catleap, Overlord Tempest, SEIKI displays, certain HDTVs, and other overclockable displays.

XL2411P Overclocking

Post by aerin » 26 Jul 2021, 15:06

Hello there.
I am currently using a XL2411P connected to my RX580 via a DisplayPort. I have tried overclocking in various ways but I can not seem to get above 150hz.
I have tried using a pixel patcher, the radeon software and cru, as well as AntiOOR & OORBuster but to no avail as I can't exceed the 150hz limit, even if I lower the resoluition to 1920x1079 or 1600x900 or if I disable AMA.
Another thing that I have tried is raising the total vertical, which could not exceed 1120 without going out of range.
So, here is the question, could someone help me? I have tried contacting many people about this and I have also tried various Windows, CRU and Radeon Software versions, but to no avail, once again.

[... also, a friend of mine with a identical setup achieved 200hz @1920x1080...]

Try this:

Reset the monitor through monitor toggle. Set the ff.
*Blur reduction OFF
*AMA OFF
*Instant mode ON
*Gamma 5
*Picture mode MOVIE

Here's my current config

Correct -- very important -- you need to disable monitor processing behaviours that prevents overclocking.
